Emma James | Antiquaria
Emma James pursued art from a young age, following in the footsteps of her parents. As a child she watched her father capture the beauty of Southern California and New Mexico with his paintings and her mother capture emotions and wisdom as a healer. After receiving her BFA from Parsons School of Design, Emma had a successful career as a fashion designer and trend forecaster in New York City. In 2009 she moved to Austin and co-founded Antiquaria Design Studio, a boutique stationery and lifestyle brand. Her artwork is now stocked in over two thousand stores worldwide.
Thanks to her background in trend forecasting, Emma has a unique ability to create designs that are timeless while aesthetically forward. Her passion for color and pattern made designing wallpaper a natural next step.
Drawing inspiration from her vivid memories of summers spent on her family's ranch in New Mexico, Emma's latest collection of wallpapers is a heartfelt ode to the rugged beauty of the American Southwest. Each pattern and hue reflects her deep-seated connection to the land, imbuing spaces with warmth and nostalgia. For Emma, this collection is more than just a creative endeavor; it's a personal voyage back to her roots, where every stroke of color whispers tales of sun-drenched afternoons and desert blooms.
Dive into her world and let these wallpapers transform your space into a sanctuary of soulful elegance and timeless allure.
