Misty Rene Lucien, a Texas native, is trained in both painting and visual arts. Her utilization of natural texture juxtaposed with crisp lines, color, and the playful use of negative space can be seen across all of her mediums - jewelry design, painting and interiors. Misty is inspired by the unique journey of creating that allows all of her mediums to speak to each other in the same story. Misty is the acclaimed owner and designer of B.Stellar Jewelry, established in 2013. Her modern, handmade jewelry infuses art and architectural concepts with thoughtful intention. Her collections have been stocked at the Nasher Museum, the Menil Collection, Stanley Korshak and Macy’s. Her most notable collector is Katy Perry. Adding wallpaper to her repertoire was a natural progression in her artistic journey. Her first collection of wallpaper speaks to her love of and time in Taos, New Mexico. After her mom re-settled there, Misty considered Taos a second home. Each pattern in the collection began as a unique painting that was filled with bold shapes in rich, earthy tones and framed by lines of black and white.
